Ode to Yarn by Rhonda L Black

Soft as a whisper,

You beckon me hither,

To imagine what you could be.

Gentle of hand,

I see writ on your band,

Lest you might falter in caring for me.

Though my needles be fast,

Your hunger amassed,

I quicken the pace of creation.

And I dream of a time,

When your heart and mine,

Will be showcased forever

In others’ infatuation.

Happy ‘I Love Yarn’ Day, everyone!

It’s only Wednesday??

Been working on several patterns simultaneously and swatching so much lately, I lost track of what day it is. It may be Wednesday, but it feels like Friday! Can I have an amen? Maybe I ought to focus on one project at a time, but I find that stepping away from one to work on another can be a break in itself. Then when I come back to the pattern, I have a fresher perspective. I am making progress; just not as fast as I’d like.

I’m curious….

Won’t you be my neighbor
